Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. Every image tool here works in the browser with canvas and WebAssembly, so your photos stay on your device — even the AI background remover, which downloads the model to you rather than sending the image away.

Is there a file size or batch limit?

There's no artificial cap. The practical ceiling is your device's memory, which usually means very large photos are fine on a laptop and enormous ones may struggle on an old phone.

Will compressing an image ruin its quality?

You control the trade-off. Compressing to a target size picks the highest quality that fits, and you can always compare against the original before downloading.

Which formats are supported?

JPG, PNG and WebP throughout, with HEIC photos from iPhones converted on the way in. Transparency is preserved wherever the output format allows it.
