Frequently asked questions
Is this keyword density checker free?
Yes — completely free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The analysis runs entirely in your browser — your text never leaves your device.
What is keyword density?
It's how often a word or phrase appears in your text, shown as a percentage of the total word count. It's used in SEO to check whether a page uses its target keywords a natural amount — not so rarely that the topic is unclear, and not so often it reads as keyword stuffing.
What's a good keyword density?
There's no strict rule, but most SEO guidance suggests roughly 1–2% for a primary keyword. Focus on writing naturally for readers first — density is a sanity check, not a target to hit exactly.
Why are only repeated words shown?
Words or phrases that appear only once aren't meaningful for density (by definition, density is about repetition), so the list only shows terms that occur two or more times.
