Frequently asked questions
Is this fancy text generator free?
Yes — completely free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Will this fancy text work everywhere?
It's plain Unicode text, not an image or a font, so it pastes as real text almost anywhere — Instagram bios, WhatsApp, Twitter/X, Discord and most apps. A few very old apps may show empty boxes for unsupported characters, and the rarer styles (runes, cursed, filled squares) are the most likely to.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. All styles are generated in your browser — your text never leaves your device.
What does the frame row do?
It wraps decoration around whichever style you copy, so you can combine a font with hearts, sparkles or the ꧁꧂ gaming brackets instead of choosing between them. Pick a frame once and every style in the list updates.
Why do some styles skip numbers or repeat capitals?
Unicode never set out to provide complete alternative alphabets. Some styles (cursive, italic) only define stylised letters, so digits stay normal; others (squares, filled bubbles) only exist as capitals, so upper and lower case look the same. Your original text is unchanged — only the display characters differ.
Do my starred styles sync between devices?
No. Stars are saved in this browser only, so they survive a reload but won't follow you to another phone or computer — nothing is sent to a server.
Can search engines or screen readers read this text?
Screen readers can usually read it letter by letter, but it won't be found by exact search the way normal text would, since each character is a different Unicode symbol. Use it for bios and captions, not for content you need to be searchable.
