Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No — rendering happens entirely in your browser. Drafts, notes and README files never leave your device.
Which Markdown syntax is supported?
Standard Markdown plus the GitHub extensions people expect: tables, fenced code blocks, task lists and strikethrough.
Is the HTML output safe to embed?
Yes — the output is sanitized, which strips script tags and event-handler attributes. You still control where you embed it, so treat pasted third-party Markdown with normal caution.
Why does my line break not show up?
Standard Markdown joins single line breaks into one paragraph. End a line with two spaces or leave a blank line between paragraphs.
Can I convert HTML back to Markdown here?
No — this tool goes one way, Markdown to HTML. Tell us if you need the reverse and we'll consider adding it.
