Frequently asked questions

Is this sign PDF tool free?

Yes — completely free with no sign-up and no watermark on the result.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Your signature is drawn and placed entirely in your browser — neither the PDF nor your signature ever leaves your device.

Is this a legally binding e-signature?

No. This tool places an image of your signature onto the page — it doesn't create a certified or audited e-signature. For contracts that need that, use a dedicated e-signing service.

Can I use a photo of my real signature instead of drawing one?

Yes — upload a PNG. For the best result (no white box around it), crop and clean it up first with the Signature Cropper tool, which removes the paper background and leaves a transparent PNG.

Can I sign more than one page?

This tool places one signature on one page per run. To sign multiple pages, download the signed PDF and run it through again for the next page.
