Frequently asked questions
Is this PDF to ZIP tool free?
Yes — completely free with no sign-up and no limit on how many PDFs you bundle.
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. The ZIP is built entirely in your browser — your files never leave your device.
Does this combine the PDFs into one document?
No — each PDF stays a separate file inside the ZIP. If you want one combined PDF instead, use the Merge PDF tool.
Does zipping compress the PDFs further?
PDFs are already compressed internally, so a ZIP rarely shrinks them much. Use Compress PDF first if you need a smaller file size.
What happens if two files have the same name?
The tool automatically renames duplicates (e.g. "report (1).pdf") so nothing is overwritten inside the archive.
