Frequently asked questions
Is this PDF to HTML converter free?
Yes — completely free with no sign-up and no watermark on the result.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser — the file never leaves your device.
What's the difference between the two modes?
Semantic HTML reflows the extracted text into paragraphs — clean, editable, and readable at any width, but it doesn't preserve the exact original layout. Pixel-accurate layout places every line of text at its exact original position, so it looks like the source page, but the text won't reflow or resize.
Will fonts, colors and images be preserved?
No — this extracts text only, using a generic font. It's built for getting content and structure out of a PDF, not for pixel-perfect visual cloning including images and custom fonts.
Will this work on a scanned PDF?
Only if it already has a text layer. Scanned pages with no selectable text produce an empty result — run OCR PDF first to add one.
