Frequently asked questions

Is this crop and resize PDF tool free?

Yes — completely free with no sign-up and no watermark on the result.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Cropping and resizing both happen entirely in your browser — the file never leaves your device.

Can I crop each page differently?

Yes. Every page gets its own crop — click any thumbnail to set that page's box, and each side can differ. When one page is right, Apply to all pages copies it across, so a uniform document is still two clicks.

Can it straighten a crooked scan?

Yes. The Straighten slider tilts the page up to 15° either way, and the crop box snaps to the largest upright area that still fits, so you don't keep the blank wedges the tilt opens up. Straightened pages stay vector — the text is still selectable.

What about pages that are rotated?

They're handled correctly. The crop follows the page as you see it on screen, not the underlying orientation stored in the file, so a sideways scan crops the way you'd expect.

Will resizing stretch or distort my pages?

No. Each page is scaled proportionally to fit the new size and centered, so nothing is stretched — pages with a different aspect ratio just get a bit of empty space on two sides.

Is cropping reversible?

Not from the cropped file — the page boundary is moved in, so the trimmed area is no longer part of the visible page. Keep your original if you might need the full page again.
