Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. Both files are rendered and compared entirely in your browser — neither ever leaves your device.
What does the synced scroll do?
Scrolling either document in Side by side view moves the other by the same proportion, so the same part of each document stays roughly lined up even if page counts differ.
What does Text diff compare?
It extracts all the selectable text from both PDFs and highlights added words (underlined) and removed words (struck through) so you can spot wording changes quickly.
Will Text diff work on a scanned PDF?
Only if the PDF already has a text layer. Scanned pages with no selectable text show up blank in the diff — run OCR PDF first to add one.
